We strive to transform how individuals see themselves and their world, by bringing music mentoring programs to at risk youth. We know we’re having an impact, because our participants say so.

Before and after each 10-week program, each participant completes the short Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS) survey, in which they report how often they felt relaxed, useful, close to other people, or optimistic about the future (and several other markers, like clear thinking and autonomous decision making).

Noise Solution consistently reports an average increase of 2.38 points in SWEMWBS scores, which translates to young people feeling better about themselves and their lives.

See for yourself. Explore the tools here to see average score changes by location, age group, gender, ethnicity, and other factors.
